PURPOSE: A limiting apparatus for an electric switching device is provided to offer an accurate micro-adjusting function and a convenient locking function of the limiting apparatus to users. CONSTITUTION: A limiting apparatus for an electric switching device comprises the following: a control handle(310) exposed to the front side of the apparatus for setting the rotation output limit of a motor, and elastically supported by a spring; a rotating carrier(320) including a serration combining unit(322) selectively combining with a serration unit on the control handle for self-locking the control handle; a planet gear(340) connected to a sun gear of the control handle; a first ring gear(360) including a first internal gear(361), and operating a limit switch for selectively controlling the rotation output of the motor; and a second ring hear(370) including a second internal gear(372), and receiving the rotation output of the motor.
