<p>The method involves scanning a surveillance zone by a distance measuring sensor, and recording a set of distances measured by a scanning angle. The measured distances are compared with corresponding reference values in absence of overlap in the surveillance zone, where the reference values are calculated at separation height between a free stalling zone and a feeding passage and/or measured. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for detecting standing overlapping in a mammal confined in a delimited surveillance zone (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for detecting standing overlapping in a mammal confined in a delimited surveillance zone (3) a computer readable data storage unit comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for detecting standing overlapping in a mammal confined in a delimited surveillance zone.</p> |
