PURPOSE: A device for opening/closing an automatic door is provided to reduce power for opening/closing an automatic door save power to cool or heat an indoor space by controlling the opening width of the automatic door depending on the size of an object by detecting the size of the object approaching the automatic door. CONSTITUTION: A device for opening/closing an automatic door comprises an size detecting unit(120), an automatic-door driving unit, a touch switch(130), and a weight sensing switch(140). The size detecting unit is installed on the central part of the upper wall of an automatic door(110). The size detecting unit detects the size of an object approaching the automatic door. The automatic-door driving unit opens/closes the half or the entire of the automatic door depending on the size signal of the object supplied from the size detecting unit. The touch switch is installed on the middle height of a surface adjacent to the automatic door of the outer surfaces of a wall(100). |
