Sheet processing machine with comb-shaped sheet guidance device

The machine has ridge-shaped sheet conducting devices (7, 7') for a sheet material, and sheet guiding cylinders (3, 4, 6) for transport of the sheet material. One of the sheet guiding cylinders is arranged at a distance to the sheet conducting devices. Teeth are arranged at a distance to each other over line length and attached to a delivery region of two sheet holding units (12) i.e. grippers. The sheet conducting devices include an electronic-optical measuring device with optical axis arranged in the teeth. The sheet guiding cylinders are formed as an impression cylinder, transfer cylinder, sheet guiding cylinder, storage cylinder and a turning cylinder.
