PURPOSE: A vacuum cleaner is provided to remove the pest harmful to the human body from a living space while inhales the dust and foreign material by adding a pest control function in a vacuum cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a main body, a spinning brush, a suction hose, a driving switching unit(40) and a micom. The main body detachably installs a dust collecting container in the back side. The main body installs a vacuum motor in inside and forms first and second connection pipes and an absorbing body. The spinning brush is installed in the absorbing body and is rotated from the driving of a brush motor in order to sweep the foreign material existing in the floor. The suction hose is used for a suction passage and guides the foreign material which is vacuum-suctioned from the absorbing body to the dust collecting container. The suction hose guides from a first connecting pipe to the dust collector container after directly absorbing the foreign material. The driving switching unit selects the electric power supply to the vacuum cleaner and action mode. The micom controls the vacuum cleaner according to the switching signal through the driving switching unit.
