<p>The various housing sections of an extruder (20) are bolted to a series of transverse support plates (3), which are joined by longitudinal tubular members (2). The plates (3) have recesses into which the tubular members (2) are clamped (15). The drive unit is supported at the end plate. Recesses are provided for cable service ducts (27) and for mounting access (23). The plates are fitted with adjustable feet (8). An independent claim is included for a component set from which a support frame for an extruder can be assembled. Support plates for side feed arrangements can also be clamped to the longitudinal members (2) at any position.</p> |
