Method for producing an implant and implant with at least one predetermined breaking line

The method involves delimiting a break line (3) for exposing an opening or recessing of a closure section (2) that is removable from a wall section by the effect of force. A sub-assembly of an implant (1) is produced. The break line is formed based on reduction of wall thickness of the wall section up to 0.3 mm in a region of the break line by material deformation, which is carried out by pressure in cold or warm condition using pressing process. The implant is made of a metallic material e.g. titanium, titanium alloy, cobalt chromium alloy, magnesium alloy and/or steel alloy. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing an implant.
