Method and device for drawing a tubular film or a film cover over a stack

The method involves pulling a tubular film (1) on a gathering device designed as a drawing device. The drawing device is moved along a goods stack section (A) against a drawing direction after reaching an end area of goods stack (2) so that a tubular film section (15) is laid on the tubular film that lies already at the goods stack. The drawing device is connected to the goods stack section and moved along a portion of the goods stack section in the drawing direction so that another tubular film section (16) is laid on the former tubular film section. An independent claim is also included for a device for drawing a tubular film or the film cover over the goods stack.
