Disc brake for a commercial vehicle

The brake has a brake caliper (2) fastened to a stationary brake bracket by fastening elements e.g. fixed bearing and floating bearing (5). Side of each fastening element is friction conclusively sealed by a pot-shaped cover (7) that is held in a bearing borehole (6) of the caliper. The side of each element is turned away from a brake disk. A wall (8) of the cover freely lies in a partial region (10) against an embrasure of the borehole. The embrasure is parallel to the wall. The partial region is turned toward a cover base (12) of the wall. The cover is formed as a sheet metal stamp part.
