摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid high-polymer electrolyte having a large ion cluster diameter, excellent in the conductivity, and also excellent in the mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The solid high-polymer electrolyte is subjected to an electron beam or a radiations treatment in the temperature range within ±50 deg.C of its crystalline melting point or softening point. If the treatment is conducted in the mentioned temperature range, severance of the high-polymer chain and its coupling occur simultaneously, and the ion clusters in the electrolyte are rearranged so that bridging is generated finally. This causes the cluster diameter to enlarge and forms a path favorable for ionic migration to lead to enhancement of the conductivity, and the mechanical strength is heightened by the bridging. Similar characteristics may be furnished if the solid high-polymer electrolyte is first subjected to an electron beam or a radiations treatment and then to a heat treatment in the temperature range within ±50 deg.C of its crystalline melting point or softening point.
