Contact module for a medium voltage installation in plug-in design

The module has a rotatable and/or switchable, electrically conductable contact element that is not electrically connected with an electrical connecting conductor of an electrical function module (22) in a position of the contact element. The contact element is electrically connected to the function module in another position. The contact element is force-actuated against an electrical contact area of the function module in the latter position of the contact element. A form closure (10) is provided between the contact module and the function module in the latter position. The function module is designed as a power switch, a vacuum switch, a sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker and a contactor or a safety device.
