A both-ends supported type reclining seat comprising a seat cushion, a seat bag pivotally supported for revolution with respect to the seat cushion, first and second lock mechanisms (1, 1~) disposed on both sides of the seat for locking the seat bag with respect to the seat cushion, a pivot shaft (4) having first and second ends (4a, 4b) for interconnecting the first and second lock mechanisms (1, 1~), the first and second lock mechanisms (1, 1~) having first and second actuation shafts (16, 16~) serving to lock the seat bag with respect to the seat cushion, the first actuation shaft (16) being rigidly connected to the first end (4a) of the pivot shaft (4), the second actuation shaft (16~) being connected to the second end (4b) of the pivot shaft (4) so that second actuation shaft (16~) and the pivot shaft (4) can be rotated by a predetermined angle relative to each other.
