PURPOSE: An embossed tape is provided to maintain a semi-permanent embossing form in the severe condition of high temperature and high humidity and to improve the adhesive property of products. CONSTITUTION: An embossed tape for a display device is such that a substrate is laminated on an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer is formed by applying an adhesive layer to a liner having a diagonal or flat embossing for removing bubbles. The adhesive layer is applied to the liner so that the embossing form is maintained by forming a gap between the substrate and the adhesive layer. The adhesive is formed of an acryl- or silicone-based adhesive.
