PURPOSE: A test system and method for testing a battery cell is provided to measure the voltage between battery tabs and the resistance between outer housings of the battery tab and the battery cell within a nest member. CONSTITUTION: A test system(10) comprises a nest member, a tightening device, a voltage measuring unit(110), a resistance measuring unit(120), and a computer(122). A battery cell is mounted in the inner side of the nest member. The tightening device fixes a first battery tab between a first connector and a second connector. The tightening device fixes a second battery tab between a third connector and fourth second connector. The voltage measuring unit measures a voltage level between the third connector and the first connector. A voltage-level value which shows the voltage level is sent to the computer. The resistance measuring unit measures a first resistance level between a first part of outer housing and the first connector. The first resistance level value is sent to the computer. |
