[Class 38 (i)] A multi-connector adaptor for use with flanged ferrules 14 on the ends of conductors 16, is provided with an outer casing 1 in which is held an insulating block 10 containing apertures for double-ended sockets 12 for the ferrules which are retained therein by a comb 18 slidable over the conductors and held in place by a removable cover 20. The casing 1 is provided also with locating guides 5 and a flange 2 on which is located a collar 6 by resilient rings 8 on either side of the flange. The block 10 is split and sandwiches gaskets 11 which seal the sockets in place, the block abutting a shoulder 4 in the casing on one side and being held therein on the other side by a screw ring 13 which engages with the casing. The cover 20 is tightened against a packing ring 22 within the casing by a locking member screwing thereon. The Provisional Specification refers to Specification 468,806.
