PURPOSE: An anti-rotation safety device for a power trowel is provided to prevent an accident by cutting off power supplied to a power trowel when a user fails to catch a handle. CONSTITUTION: An anti-rotation safety device for a power trowel comprises a housing(200), a switch unit, a rotary power connection lever, a earth plate member(600), an insulating unit, and a terminal. The housing comprises a fixing hole(210) for fixing on a specific part of a power trowel and a space(220). The switch unit is installed outside the housing and rotated around a rotary shaft. The rotary power connection lever is fixed to the rotary shaft of the switch unit, rotated in the rotating direction of the switch unit, and comprises a fixing member for fixing a wire that is inserted into a power connection hole(410) by passing through a through hole(230) of the housing. The rotary power connection lever contacts the earth plate member for connection of power. The insulating unit is installed between the housing and the earth plate member in order to prevent electrical short during power supply. The terminal is connected to the earth plate member. |
