METHOD FOR REMOVING A MOVING CAST SHADOW IN GRAY LEVEL VIDEO DATA

PURPOSE: A projection shading elimination method of a moving object in white and black video data is provided to extract a rectangular area including a front moving object by eliminating a projection shading area. CONSTITUTION: A moving object projection shading candidate area is extracted(S210). A projection shading pixel or a moving object block pixel is determined based on an edge pattern in front block pixels of the extracted moving object projection shading candidate area(S220). A minimum rectangular area including the front moving object block pixel is extracted(S230).
