PURPOSE: A natural surfactant composition containing Dioscoreae Rhizoma extract is provided to ensure stability, emulsion stability, and dispersion ability. CONSTITUTION: A natural surfactant composition contains 0.001-50 wt% of Dioscoreae Rhizoma extract. The Dioscoreae Rhizoma extract is isolated using water, methanol, ethanol, butanol, glycerol. Propylene glycol, or 1,3-butylene glycol. The cosmetic composition contains the natural surfactant composition. A cleansing composition contains the natural surfactant composition. A method for preparing the composition comprises: a step of isolating with one of the solvent.
