摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of effectively machining a workpiece, while preventing damage of a spindle shaft due to ultrasonic vibration transmitted in a radial direction in a cutting blade. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting device includes the cutting blade 27, the spindle shaft 26 mounted with the cutting blade 27 at a tip side, an ultrasonic vibrator 43 for generating ultrasonic vibration in an axial direction of the spindle shaft 26, and a spacer member 28 interposed between the cutting blade 27 and the spindle shaft 26. The spindle shaft 26 positions an end face 36 on the spacer member 28 side at a maximum vibration amplitude point P1 where the axial direction pressure of the ultrasonic vibration becomes minimum. The spacer member 28 abuts on the end face 36 of the spindle shaft 26 to position the cutting blade 27 at a minimum vibration amplitude point P2 being a vibration converting point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
