SHIP EQUIPPED WITH BOW THRUSTER, SHIP NAVIGATION METHOD AND MODIFICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship having a bow thruster capable of prohibiting striking of a water-flow from a bow against the rear edge of the bow thruster tunnel, preventing an eddy flow from being generated even if a lid is not arranged at the opening part of the bow thruster tunnel, reducing a thrusting resistance of a hull, attaining a fuel saving during sailing and at the same time providing an energy saving as well.

SOLUTION: An injection nozzle 21 for use in injecting either sea water or water W is arranged along the peripheral outer panel of the front edge 11f of a bow thruster tunnel 11 provided with a bow thruster 12 or the inside part of the peripheral outer panel so as to form a water curtain Wc covering either a part of or all the opening part of the bow thruster tunnel 11 at the time of sailing.
