<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device that has a small number of parts with a simple structure, thereby reducing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmission device houses a driven plate 6, a torque damper 7 for connecting between the transmitting case 5 and the driven plate 6, and a clutch 8 for connecting the driven plate 6 and an output shaft 3.
