<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a new thermoplastic polymer composition having good processing stability is required. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoplastic polymer composition contains maltitol and a thermoplastic polymer. The processing stabilizer for the thermoplastic polymer contains the maltitol as an active ingredient. The method for stabilizing the thermoplastic polymer includes a step of mixing 0.0005-5 pts.wt. of the maltitol based on 100 pts.wt. of the thermoplastic polymer.
