PURPOSE: A device for providing location information is provided to supply the location information of UE corresponding to a UE(User Equipment) location information providing mode. CONSTITUTION: A controller(911) detects the requirement that performs measuring operation from a base station. The controller performs the measuring operation due to the UE location information providing mode which is used in a mobile communication system. The controller performs the measurement report operation according to the US location information providing mode. The UE location information providing mode is at least one among fixed PSC(Primary Scrambling Code) mode, an extended PSC mode, an adaptive PSC mode, and a PSC reuse mode.
