<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive type fuel cell capable of using a high-concentration fuel and thereby improving output and reducing its size. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell contains a unit cell 30 with a membrane electrode assembly 20 that contains a fuel electrode 11, an electrolyte membrane 10 and an air electrode 12 in this order, a fuel supplying part that is located on a fuel electrode 11 side of the unit cell 30 and is designed to retain fuel and to supply fuel to the fuel electrode, and a fuel supply adjusting layer 1 that is located between the unit cell 30 and the fuel supplying part and is designed to adjust the volume of fuel supply to the fuel electrode 11. The fuel supply adjusting layer 1 consists of a cured layer of a curable resin composition. A fuel cell stack using the fuel cell is also provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
