<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode manufacturing method and an electrode manufacturing apparatus capable of further reduction in cost for equipment and of coating under optimum conditions in each coating process. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode manufacturing method comprises a coating material coating process for coating a strip of electrode foil 2 with coating material 41, a drying process for drying a coating layer 3 while transporting the electrode foil 2 coated in the coating material coating process in the longitudinal direction, and a reversing process for reversing the traveling direction of the electrode foil 2 and reversing two sides of the electrode foil 2. In the coating material coating process, coating of one side A of the electrode foil 2 is performed while coating of the other side B of the electrode foil 2 by one coating material gravure roll 43 equipped with a first coating material coating portion 45 for coating the one side A of the electrode foil 2 with the coating material 41 and a second coating material coating portion 46 for coating the other side B of the electrode foil 2 with the coating material 41 . <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
