<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the position of an eyeball and the state of a blink, etc. <P>SOLUTION: An eye/eyelid state detector includes: a frame part to be mounted around the eyes of a user; a light emitting part installed to the frame part, for irradiating an area surrounded by the frame part with light having light intensity distribution that has a fixed gradient; a light receiving part installed to the frame part, for receiving reflected light by the eye or eyelid for the light irradiated by the light emitting part; and a detection part for detecting the state of the eye or the eyelid on the basis of the received light quantity of the reflected light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
