<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling body capable of correcting an error due to the mounting angle deviation of a sensor which measures the position of an object without externally installing any reference member for correction. <P>SOLUTION: This traveling body is provided with: a sensor 12 loaded on a vehicle body 11, and configured to measure the position of an object by defining a first area where an object whose measurement is necessary on traveling exists and the other second area as a measurement area; a reference member 13 formed in the vehicle body 11, and arranged at the predetermined position of the second area; and a controller 14 equipped with a correction part 22 for correcting an error due to the mounting angle deviation of the sensor 12 based on the position of the reference member 13 measured by the sensor 12 and the predetermined position, and configured to control the movement of the vehicle body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
