<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting/end point traffic volume calculation device, a traffic simulator, and a starting/end point traffic volume calculation method capable of calculating starting/end point traffic volume with sufficient accuracy without requiring repetition of trial-and-error processing for calculating OD traffic volume. <P>SOLUTION: A weighting factor determination part 18 determines a weighting factor α based on the installed number of optical beacons installed in a starting point area and/or an end point area. A starting/end point traffic volume calculation part 19 performs weighted average of first starting/end point traffic volume A and second starting/end point traffic volume B acquired by a first traffic volume acquisition part 12 and a second traffic volume acquisition part 15 with the weighting factor α determined by the weighting factor determination part 18 to calculate starting/end point traffic volume C from the starting point area to the end point area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
