<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching device with which wiring of a power main line into a wiring core of a high-rise building is easy and a required number of branch cables in each floor can be branched arbitrarily, and which can greatly expedite and facilitate branching of the branch cables. <P>SOLUTION: A connecting body 1 includes a sleeve 9 having a cable insertion hole 8 at one end 3 into which a large capacity cable is inserted. A power connecting section 2 continuous to the sleeve 9 is formed in a substantially half-column shape formed by cutting a column body in the axial direction. The connecting section 2 has a shape including: coupling bolt holes 5 separated from each other by a prescribed interval s in the longitudinal direction; a fitting hole 6 concaved in a thickness direction at a position nearer to one of the one end 3 and the other end 4; and a fitting protrusion 7 to be fitted into the fitting hole formed at the other of the ends of another connecting body. A pair of connecting bodies 1 with such a shape are fitted to each other in symmetrical orientations so as to fit the fitting holes 6 and the respective fitting protrusions 7 with each other and to be fastened by the bolts through the bolt holes 5 for use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
