<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for indicating information about a base station to a terminal device while the number of changes of a signal format defined in a communication system is kept small. <P>SOLUTION: A base station device 14 is driven by an accumulator battery. A communicating part 60 communicates with other base station devices by inter-base station communication as well as with a terminal device. A setting part 110 sets a second SSID that is different from a first SSID for identifying this base station device 14, on the basis of a residual accumulator battery. A generating part 112 generates a beacon signal containing the set second SSID, a MAC address given to this base station device 14 and information to be indicated to a terminal device. The communicating part 60 informs about the beacon signal.
