<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a liquid to be rubbed against an item to be applied without troublesome operation even after the liquid is discharged from a cap to the item to be applied or while the liquid is discharged in the cap for a liquid vessel used for metering the liquid or using the liquid little by little. <P>SOLUTION: The cap 1A for the liquid vessel removably attached to an opening 21 of a vessel body 20 accommodating the liquid includes: an outer tube 2; an inner tube 3 formed inside the outer tube; a metering chamber 4 formed in the inner tube; and an application surface 10 formed in a part of the end on the opening 4a side of the metering chamber of the inner tube. The application surface 10 protrudes to the part 3b (non-application surface) other than the application surface of the end on the opening 4a side of the metering chamber of the inner tube oppositely to the bottom 4b of the metering chamber.
