<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic management system for network that is extremely easily applicable to a plurality of client terminals linked to a network communication line and that facilitates management operation. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of client terminals 3a, 3b and so on are connected to a communication line that constitutes a network. A managing server 4 that manages each client terminals 3a, 3b and so on is also connected. The managing server 4 is provided with a management signal transmission section 41 that sends a management signal regularly onto the communication line.
