<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely generate power from a falling water flow without any new civil engineering work even in the case of a flood. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic power generation plant 1 for generating power by suspending a water wheel includes a holder assembly 2 suspended by attaching a bearing 5 into which a cylindrical shaft 4 fixed to a stand 7 is inserted, the stand 7 on which the water wheel 21 and a power generator 22 are mounted and which is suspended from the shore, a water receiving plate 3 attached to the holder assembly 2 to receive a falling water flow, and a stopping device 6 for separating the water wheel 21 from the water flow to stop its rotation by lifting the holder assembly 2 with the cylindrical shaft 4 as a rotational center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
