<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance durability of an elastic tube which is the only combustible of a tube pump by reducing loads applied on the elastic tube. <P>SOLUTION: In the conventional tube pump, a pressure roller is rotated by a friction force with an elastic tube, and hence a force of a driving direction is applied on the elastic tube as a reaction to apply a load on the elastic tube. Similarly, in pressing of the elastic tube and reaction by generated pump pressure, a force of a rotational direction is applied on the elastic tube, becoming a load. When a gear is provided in the drive coaxis of a motor, and engaged with gears disposed in both ends of the pressure roller to transmit a force, the driving force of the pressure roller generates a force for pulling back the elastic tube in an opposite driving force. However, this is canceled because of the force opposite that of the driving direction applied to the pressure roller by the drive coaxial gear.
