<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide resin having high transparency, solubility to solvents, heat resistance and storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: The polyimide resin is provided, which is obtained by the following step: a specific phenylenediamine derivative is used as a diamine component and an alicyclic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride as an acid component, and these components are put to imidation reaction in the presence of a reducing agent having a standard redox (oxidation-reduction) potential of -0.20 V or higher and not higher than 0.34 V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
