<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for vehicle which copes with such a state that there coexist a plurality of types of external rewrite devices using different communication protocols. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for vehicle for carrying out communication connection to a plurality of types of external rewrite devices using different communication protocols includes a storage device for storing control program, a control section that rewrites the control program in response to rewrite commands received from the external rewrite devices connected to local devices for communication. In the control device for vehicle, the control section distinguishes the types of the external write devices connected to the local devices for communication based on header information of the rewrite commands received each time the rewrite commands are received and performs rewriting according to the protocols. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
