<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room-temperature moisture-thickened heat-conductive silicone grease composition that is amenable to coat at the initial, increases its viscosity with moisture at room temperature rather than curing so that it remains flexible and anti-sagging, is easy to re-work, eliminates the need for refrigeration or freezing upon storage and the need for a heating process upon assembly, avoids any undesired viscosity buildup, is easy to manufacture, and is capable of achieving a high heat conductivity. <P>SOLUTION: The room-temperature moisture-thickened heat-conductive silicone grease composition essentially comprises (A) a trialkoxysilyl-endcapped organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 0.1-1,000 Pa s at 25°C, (B) an organopolysiloxane represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>is an alkyl group, alkoxyalkyl group, alkenyl group or acyl group; n is 5-100; and a is 1-3), (C) a heat-conductive filler having a heat conductivity of ≥10 W/m°C and (D) a condensation catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
