<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production schedule planning device for planning a satisfactory production schedule in a short time with respect to even a production line in which batch processing exists in an arbitrary process following a first process, especially a production line having a plurality of batch processing facilities whose capacities are different. <P>SOLUTION: A production schedule planning device 1 is provided with: a master reading device 2 for reading preliminarily applied operation conditions; a batch processing group creation device 3 for creating a batch processing group based on the read operation conditions; and a first process schedule creation device 4 for creating the schedule of the first process based on the created batch processing group and the read operation conditions.
