<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air belt device that houses a bag unit before development inflation being folded into a short length. <P>SOLUTION: The air belt device includes: the bag unit 100 provided in a portion of a seat belt; a collision detection device; and a gas supply device supplying a developing gas to the bag unit. The bag unit has: a tubular unit 120 connected to the gas supply device; and an inflation unit 110 formed so as to be wider than the tubular unit. The bag unit is stored on an inside diameter side of the tubular unit while the inflation unit is turned inside out and folded to a nearly same width as the tubular unit before the development inflation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
