<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a solar cell element, the material which has excellent transparency, high heat resistance and appropriate hardness and thereby, which is easily subjected to an embossing process or the like and shows high adhesion strength after immersed in hot water. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing material for a solar cell element contains a propylenic thermoplastic polymer, a hydrogenated terpene resin, a silane coupling agent (such as an epoxy-based silane coupling agent) and a nucleating agent, wherein with respect to total 100 mass% of the propylenic thermoplastic polymer and the hydrogenated terpene resin, the hydrogenated terpene resin is included by 28 to 57 mass%, and with respect to 100 mass% of the hydrogenated terpene resin, an aromatic-modified hydrogenated resin is included by 10 to 80 mass%. The nucleating agent comprises an organic compound (such as a nucleating agent comprising a sorbitol-based compound) and/or has an organic group. With respect to total 100 parts by mass of the propylenic thermoplastic polymer and the hydrogenated terpene resin, the silane coupling agent is included by 0.3 to 2.5 parts by mass and the nucleating agent is included by 0.05 to 0.75 part by mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
