<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide feed solving vitamin A deficiency caused on domestic livestock including cattle, chicken, pig, and horse in its growth period, to provide a feed additive, to provide a method for producing the feed, and to provide an apparatus for producing the feed. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for producing stockbreeding feed given to cattle or the like in its growing period, includes: a high-volume slicer 4 cutting carrot or pumpkin having a reduced value of vitamin A which is higher than a reduced value of vitamin A falling within meadow grass; and a hot air dryer 5 drying the cut carrot or the cut pumpkin. The dried carrot or the dried pumpkin is, for example, mixed with the meadow grass to give the mixture to the cattle to solve vitamin A deficiency caused on the cattle in its growth period, so as to promote growth of the cattle or the like and improve the quality of the meat thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
