<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a work space by arranging a heavy substance driving unit at a lower part of a base, eliminate a physical instability of an apparatus as much as possible by locating a center of gravity at a lower position, and inhibit a degradation of a cutting capability depending on a type and material of a sheet-like substance by controlling an instantaneous cutting speed. <P>SOLUTION: A driving force unit is arranged at the lower part of a main base unit 20 to secure the work space. A surface sliding mechanism is incorporated into a main base to prevent the sheet-like substance from stirring upon cutting due to poor slippage.
