<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new digital modulation system utilized for a pulse wave. <P>SOLUTION: A PSK modulating part 24 conducts digital modulation by PSK to a carrier utilizing a code A and a code B has mutual complementary relationship, thereby generating a PSK modulated transmit signal of a pulse wave. A compressing part A30A conducts demodulating processing according to the code A for a received RF signal corresponding to the code A, thereby compressing a pulse wave spreading in the time-axis direction. A compressing part B30B conducts demodulation according to the code B for a received RF signal corresponding to the code B, thereby compressing a pulse wave spreading in the time-axis direction. A synthesizing part 40 synthesizes a compressed demodulation signal related to the code A with a compressed demodulation signal related to the code B.
