<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communications system having a radio base station device capable of power saving. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communications system according to the invention comprises: a radio base station device 101; a terminal 201 that wirelessly communicates with the radio base station device 101 in a service area 301 of the radio base station device 101; a position registration information management device 104 that registers and manages position information on the terminal 201; and a host device 103 that controls the radio base station device 101 and the position registration information management device 104. The radio base station device 101 executes a stand-by mode to stop transmission of a downstream channel signal from the radio base station device 101 to the terminal 201, when the terminal 201 that can wirelessly communicate with the radio base station device 101 does not exist, based on position information on the terminal 201 managed by the position registration information management device 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
