<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard for a player to recognize that a displayed result not being a specified displayed result is derived and displayed in a variable display device and thereby to keep the player from losing an interest in variable display in the variable display device. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer for game control determines whether or not the result is made a jackpot at each timing of A-D. However, it makes the result of lottery a blank compulsorily, when a second jackpot flag is set and when a second decorative symbol is varying (second special symbol is also varying). In the lottery executed at the timing of B and C, the result of the lottery is made the blank unconditionally. In the lottery executed at the timing of A and D, the second jackpot flag is not set and, therefore, the result of the lottery may be the jackpot.
