<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil heater core which can shorten an extinguishing time in extinguishing. <P>SOLUTION: The oil heater core 5 includes a heat-resistant portion having: a fibrous structural portion 12 composed of an inner fibrous structural material 17 and an outer fibrous structural material 18; and a core 13 incorporated in the fibrous structural portion 12. Owing to the form of a front end 13a of the core 13, the inner fibrous structural material 17 and an outer fibrous structural material 18 of the fibrous structural portion 12 spread radially outwardly, which presses the inner fibrous structural material 17 against a core guide inner cylinder 2 and the outer fibrous structural material 18 against a core guide outer cylinder 3 along the whole circumference of the core 5. This prevents air supply from below a core guide cylinder 4 to an unburned gas in a space on the under side of the vicinity of an inner cylinder slit 11, thus not allowing the gas to burn.
