<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing unnecessary powder remaining in the turntable face of a rotary type powder compression molding machine, and a device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, powder for cleaning is fed to the turntable face of a rotary type powder compression molding machine, a freely slidable blade such as a stirring blade is operated, and the powder for cleaning is rubbed on the turntable face to clean the turntable face, after the cleaning, and unnecessary powder is exhausted together with the used powder for cleaning. Thus unnecessary powder scattering over the turntable face of the rotary type powder compression molding machine is removed.
