<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection device which can suppress deterioration of a recording quality for a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A printer includes a primary guide shaft 17 which extends along a primary scanning direction, a carriage 19 supported on the primary guide shaft to be movable in the primary scanning direction, a recording head 22 mounted on the carriage, an ink supply tube 27 connected at one end to an ink cartridge and connected at the another end to the recording head 22, and a contact member 35 which contacts a part of a curved portion 27a extended to form a curved shape from the carriage 19 in the ink supply tube. The ink supply tube 27 changes the shape of the curved portion 27a by following movement of the carriage while the another end side is supported by the carriage 19. The contact member 35 bears a reactive force directed to the primary guide shaft 17 in a conveying direction of a recording paper throughout a scanning region of the carriage 19 from the ink supply tube 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
