<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door weather strip improving the sealing function as well as lowering the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The door weather strip 6 includes a molding section 9 connected in a corner section X to which a top extrusion molding section 7 attached along the top of a door sash 3 on the roof side of a vehicle and a bottom extrusion molding section 8 attached along the vertical section of the door sash 3 are connected. In addition, the top extrusion molding section 7, the molding section 9 and the bottom extrusion molding section 8 have the followings formed integrally in one piece: a base section 11; and a hollow seal section 12 integrally formed to the base section 11 and brought into an elastic contact with a door opening periphery section of a body panel 100 when a door is opened/closed. In this case, a protruding section 22 brought into an elastic contact with the door sash 3 is formed from the base section 11 of the molding section 9 to the vehicle interior side surface 12a in the hollow seal section 12, the protruding section 22 is gradually gathered downward in the outer periphery direction and a series of ribs 24 are formed by connecting the bottom end of the protrusion section 22 to the bottom back surface lip 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
