PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow different pieces of information to be simultaneously displayed in accordance with distances to many unspecified observers.

SOLUTION: A bifocal display device includes: a data control part 21 which acquires at least a far viewpoint image and a nearby viewpoint image; a low pass filter processing part 23 which receives the far viewpoint image from the data control part 21 and blurs the outline of the far viewpoint image; a high pass filter processing part 22 which receives the nearby viewpoint image from the data control part 21 and emphasizes the outline of the nearby viewpoint image; a superposition operation processing part 24 which superposes the far viewpoint image processed by the low pass filter processing part and the nearby viewpoint image processed by the high pass filter processing part, one over the other; and a display control part 13 which provides the processing result of the superposition operation processing part 24 to a display part as display data.
